The Witch of Endor was built at Alkira Boatshed and was launched in 2006. She is a 26ft steamboat, with 7ft beam and 2ft draft. She was built of Malaysian Cedar. The exterior was epoxy glued and dynal sheathed and painted black. The interior is varnished. Phil suggested that the frames be laminated. This not only looks attractive but gives the hull more strength. The owner built and installed the engine. A laid white beech deck was the final touch to make the Witch of Endor bewitching. The Witch of Endor goes to different boat shows on a custom built trailer and is based in Sydney.
